This program is engineered for all levels of fitness, it is a superb prelude to any of the longer workout programs (8- weeks or more)as it gets your cardio up to snuff and helps with weight loss goals. My fastest 1-mile at the start of the program was 7mins 35 secs and by the end of the program it was 5 mins 56 secs. Mind you I started the program weighing 205 lbs and at the end of it I weighed 190 lbs so the weight loss may have influenced my time . Be sure to do the warm-up with the 10 min jog before and after the cardio workout and the cool down, the little things matter!
What I admire most about this program is that it’s not like most fitness programs on the internet where they put too much training in a day and do not allow for rest or flexibility of schedule making it difficult to complete if you work for a living. It’s like most programs on the internet forget most of us have jobs and other obligations to attend to LOL.
With this program the training is realistic and flexible with plenty of rest days. Even the challenging days are achievable with proper time management and you can get the workouts done if you work a 9-5 job or do shift work like many of us do in the military, law enforcement and emergency services.
In short I will be buying more Gritty Soldier programs in the future.

As the title states, this program WORKS!! When I first started this program, my actual time was 38 seconds over my goal time. When it came down to the progress report in week 4, I had cut down my mile pace by 1 minute and 50 seconds, which completely crushed my original goal time!
When it comes to the program itself, rest days are spaced out appropriate along with the easy runs. Additionally, the strength training not only maintained my strength, but it made me gain strength as well!
I would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to cut down their mile pace, because this program not only helps me with my runs, but it also helps me with any workout I want to accomplish!
im currently deployed and have nothing but time to excersise and go on missions. while my stay over here i wantedf to become a better runner and especailly get ready so when air assault schools open up i can go into it with confidence. i purchase this program it helped me out greatlfuly i was running a slow almost 25min two mile.(I Know!) but after doing this program i got it down to 1940 two mile run time. the program is great all i can say is stick to the program but dont neglect a good diet and proper rest. thank you gritty soldier for this amazing program im looking forwarded to improving my run and PT and i look forwarded to checking out the other programs he has to offer.
Personally I used this for the running portion of my training. Does a great job of varying types of workouts so you dont’t get bogged down.
Has improved my mile time.
Will buy another program in the future after I complete this one for the second time.
